People don’t understand how abusive parental figures of any gender can influence you to attract an abusive spouse ( of any gender ). It’s so hurtful to continue the cycle of victimhood and you don’t even see it happening from the inside. So devastated that both him and his sister experienced child abuse — and *what* does it matter if in childhood, Johnny *had* in self- defense struck an abusive adult that was attacking him, as the lawyer asked?
