To be honest, the most important issue that we international students face is the expensive fees charged for the semester and receiving 0 compensation. I feel nobody is talking about this. You've got rent to pay, food is running out, Uni has charged a lot only to give online classes. It is fucked up.

No more job?
No compensation?
No stimulus help?
Families in crisis?
Lost your entire social support?
No place to go?
Trying to figure out how to eat and survive?
Oh WAIT. You still have term papers and exams!

So nice to know I'm not the only one who feels these ways

I also don’t like how I’m paying for the “on-campus” price when it’s completely online.

For my school only one teacher did zoom lessons, all the others were like "read the lesson do the assignment" and didn't even want to attempt live class contact

Also.... the clicking and typing computer elements are a little excessive in this video

This moment in history will be defined, not by what we had to deal with, but for how we dealt with it.

Over spring break, they told everyone staying on campus that they had less than 48 hours before they would be locked out of their dorms. We had nowhere to go. They said there would be an application we could fill out to stay on campus for the remainder of spring break if we were already here. And that application never came out- no explanation. The deadline came and went and we were kicked out of our homes, the housing we had already paid for months in advance.

Was there really just one man willing to talk to you about their situation?

Hey, Im going through a tough time. Its just that i was a A grade student and covid happened. I tried, I tried really hard to pay attention to online school and accept it as the new normal but I just couldn't stay as focused as I was in offline school. The whole year for me was shitty, I was seprated from my friends and I lost motivation. I gained 10 kgs and now I have such an unhealthy lifestyle. And at end of the year we had to give our exams offline in which I just shitted. My grades dropped from A to a C. Now I'm stressed. I just keep crying and stressing. I hate covid. I hate to stay at my house because my parents are so toxic and just keep on fighting. I was a athelete last here and had won a silver for 200m, but now I think that I'll never be able to Sprint again cuz I dont even exercise anymore. Idk what to do with my life anymore.

I’m a student athlete at the University of Texas and we’re literally the only guys left on campus. Everyone else has left but I’m still at college because I still have to train, the only people left are the sports teams it’s like a ghost town.

I’m 18, this is my second semester of college, and my grades are plummeting like never before in my entire life. It’s not because I’m not trying as hard as I can, it’s because there’s a good reason I don’t take online classes. I’m not good with computers at all, I need an actual present teacher to help me. but now I’m stuck in a situation where these are my first ever online classes, I’m not prepared at all and I don’t want my grades to reflect something that’s so out of my control. I’m working at the UPS World Airport so I’m constantly stressed about bringing this virus home to my family and my terrible grades. I don’t believe it’s fair for colleges not to let us drop these classes. At this point I won’t even ask for a refund.

I am a freshman in college in Greece and I haven't stepped foot in my campus. It is very frustrating. It feels like I'm missing out in of the experiences that college student should have. The worst part is that we don't know when this is going to stop. This is really affecting my studies and I feel like I'm going to fail all of my classes. Also I don't know any of my classmates even though we have a group chat it doesn't feel like we are getting to know each other
