I am pleased to say that I also have one of these most iconic1957 Landrovers (being restored) in Western Australia, I have only come across one other which is incomplete LWB S/W107 here in WA .One other from WA was sold to UK a while back and has been repowered and restored.Unfortunately 3 of these S1 lwb sw were sent to scrap in Welshpool WA in the early 90s due to the relocation of a car yard to make way for new firestation.

Yes, they do drive well. I once owned a 109 1958 Series One LWB station wagon although it wasn't in the condition yours is in. A truly remarkable restoration.

I fricking love these... I'd have one in a heartbeat but they ALWAYS go for silly money and I can't warrant it with two young kids to raise... On my hit list to own one day... I don't care how rough it is when I get one, it'll be fantastic when I've finished ... 107 all the way... had a 109, got the 110 ... why not?
