I understand that NYC as old blue eyes said that it's the city that doesn't sleep, but you need to get yours. Please do get some sleep and rest. As TheMetadaemon says which is mostly true that people that you can meet or may encounter at that wee hours of the morning are bad news. Do take care. 😴

Come by our store, just not at 1am when the door is locked and Louis tells you multiple times that it's closed.

What did we learn? Not to come by after 1:00AM and bang on the door and expect to get let in.

your video allowed me to find the cause of the problem and fix my macbook, saving a visit to the service at the same time.

Nice one! Yesterday I fixed my first board! Similar issue, the cap near the dual shotky diode was kinda shorted (25ohm) this blew the resistor next to it that would notify AC presence. Thanks for the tips. At the end of the day all modern laptops share the basic functionalities.

Isn't NYC wonderful. Tries to force way into repair shop at 1am because NYC is clearly the city that never sleeps.

Remarkably informative and straight to the point. The electronics troubleshooting is way over my head so I cannot claim to be a good "judge" of the quality of your reasoning. As such, I'm more than willing to give you the Benefit of the Doubt in that regard. It's a very good presentation, and it might very well contain the key to my problem, which is that my A1706 will not even charge.

I should make a loop of the heat gun sound to sleep by. Love that white noise.

I like the sing-song voice tone you always start with, because it betrays just how much fixing these sh1tty machines is driving you batsh1t insane.

As a former Taco Bell employee, I can assure you that anyone who shows up after midnight is bad news.

Just curious, how do you track the repairs that you've made on a board? Are you mentally keeping note? This is one of the first boards I've seen you work on where you had to replace multiple chips to get it functioning again, got me wondering if you write any notes or keep track of the old chips or something.
