Our group of Moldavian students traveled to Tartu by tourist bus from Tallinn during winter vacations in February 1974.
I will never forget an old guide/professor Leesment so friendly, showing us proudly
the famous University of Tartu. And the food somewhere - a Swedish table - was delicious !

Cool video - brought back some good memories of my day trip from Tallinn. I loved looking around the church with no roof near the University and the botanical gardens - although by the time I got there the inside section had closed. It was quite late to be fair!

Tartu is a great city, much better than Tallinn thanks to its friendly atmosphere. It has a similar vibe to Viljandi, Pärnu and Riga too. Great balance of sport, culture, nightlife and work.

I have a question about Estonia, could someone help me please? I will be an exchange student in a few weeks and I read about everywhere about expensive cosmetics. What does that mean? How much do I have to pay for a shower gel or a shampoo?
