Um.. I'm pretty sure most of your active contributors are sorted for scopes. It's us novices, with nothing to offer, who need scopes and can't justify dropping hundreds of dollars for a scope just for a hobby.
I'm in NZ so I can enter the Keysight competition but I thought I'd just point that out anyway.
Edit: I'm 2.5 hours too late to enter. Oh well.

I made the leap from hobbyist to professional engineer about two years ago - mind splitting effort. My small business made a change from mechanical only design and manufacturing to electronics design and manufacture. This transition has been a massive financial burden and a huge risk for me and my family. I have to make do with a 16 year old Tek scope for now. A scope like this on my bench would be fully maximized nearly every day. The lack of good scope is a giant limitation for my little biz. Fingers crossed that one of these can find my bench - it would unlock my potential.

Wow. You rock, Dave. I'm not going to enter your giveaway because besides some musings in the general chat forum, I'm hardly a "contributor". Plus, I reckon that somebody else is going to need a scope more than me. I'd love to have a scope, but I'm a tinkerer and I'd guess that some student trying to get a degree or work on the EE field needs it more than I do. I'll definitely enter the Keysight contest, though. Good luck to everybody! :)

For the daily scope giveaway do I have to register daily to take part in drawings? The confirmation message would suggest so:
"Don't forget, you can enter once per day throughout Scope Month."
whereas rules say:
"Winner Selection. A random drawing will be conducted by Keysight daily, March 1 through March 31, 2016 at Keysight Technologies, Inc., 1900 Garden of the Gods Road, CO 80907, USA to select thirty five potential winners from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period."

Bummer -- I tried to enter a second time a few hours after my first entry, and it said I had already entered the maximum number of times. No problem -- except the Terms & Conditions specifically state that "multiple entries are allowed...".

Been learning from your Vids for years here but never felt a need to post on forums.
As my understanding of most things EE related is pretty rudimentary I'm not much help trying to answer others questions.
Most questions us noobs have, have already been asked somewhere at sometime on the interwebs.
Tends to just be the lazy ones that will jump on the forums and ask every little question one might have when learning :P

Common Dave... How's about a fair suck of the sav for us Aussie enthusiasts that can't enter the main comp but have been quietly supporting your youtube and visiting the forums. ;)

But you gotta wonder about the Terms of the giveaway - you are allowed to make machine-assisted and even fully automated multiple entries ... spam them with thousands of participation and skewing the results is allowed!?!?
