Rebecca and Amanda are the same person as the entity that kills you if Amanda looses her patient. But, what Rebecca/Amanda signed wasn't for the show it was for experimental purposes ( basically she signed up to be a lab rat) but being a young girl she didn't know that and they probably told her it wa a for the show. Also the place they took her was a place where they sort of prepared her to become the entity without her knowing there's also another theory where she's trapped inside the tv as Amanda but since she's also mixed with the entity. So since Rebecca, Amanda, and the entity are in the same body that would mean they all share same thoughts but over time Rebeccas/ Amanda's thoughts became corrupted because of the entity. But it's just a theory from another YouTuber.

Theory of mine’s:

What if Hamelin wanted the show to be as realistic as it was because it was so popular. To make it realistic, they caused Sam to go missing because he was stopping them from turning Rebecca into Amanda. Then, once he was gone, they got Rebecca to sign a consent form which allowed them to turn her into Amanda. That would explain why Amanda is the only one making the show messed up. She is also the only one who knows who Sam is.

The people there were probably trying to experiment with Sam's daughter. They probably wanted to make a show that would literally connect with kids...that's my theory
