My name is Thon Adut Thon from South Sudan Africa. I have been following your videos on YouTube and you have inspired me so much. I have one problem that I need help from you. When I'm in class, I have this fast imagination that easily penetrate deep into what the teacher is communicating and later get lost. This thing distract me from concentrating or sticking to what the teacher has given. That fast imagination gives me pseudo-knowledge that I have understood without mastering the content. So frustrating!! Any idea about this?

This is so true I couldn't understand really what you mean but hopefully we will continue this course and may get the point.

For years I thought that the partial derivative symbol was the lowercase greek symbol delta. Now I learn that it's actually a variant of the latin letter "d", and not a delta symbol. [ \partial in LaTeX.] It was your handwritten version of del, a bit more horizontal than the typeset form that made me think about this and look it up. The symbol name "del" is therefore misleading, since it makes you think of the Greek letter "delta" for which it is not. But OMG, I've seen this before, so I could understand it, and you explained it better so that I know what it means.
