Ethical consumption is impossible under capitalism. No infinite growth on a finite planet. The profit motive can't be expected to guide us to salvation

My kidneys don' process bean based proteins. I hope there will still be eggs and dairy for folks like me. Meeting all my protein needs will be tough relying on whole grains, nuts, and seeds only.

Absolutely love it. It's delicious, and foods like this make it easier for folks to transition to a plant based, earth/animal friendly diet and I'm all for that. My only complaint is the price- I'm a lower class Vegan and it's "Impossible" for me to afford. Maybe once or twice a month; which is fine for me (I prefer primarily whole foods in my diet), but not for others struggling to figure out how to switch to and maintain a plant based diet. If u can afford it, it's great, otherwise not so much.

How are they going to make a meatless turkey or steak? Interesting.

And exactly how much GLYPHOSATE is in these burgers?? Yeah... it’s garbage food. Endocrine disrupters and cheap ingredients. Make your own burgers, don’t waste your money.

Firstly, he talks about the greenhouse effects of beef, while non-ruminants like poultry and pork, do not produce much methane. And, beef methane production can be cut up to 90% by putting seaweed in the cattle's feed. Further, leaving aside the fact that the heme (an iron porphyrin) is produced in genetically modified yeast, these 'burgers' are lower in protein that normal ones. I think that I will wait for vat meat, which is nutritionally identical to normal meat, but grown in a lab.
