From what I hear and I've sensed that Casey is one of those legendary old guard for media of the new age. He's one of those people that provided top quality content long before others realized the value of the material.

That's the way to get free promo. If your product is good enough, you only have to get it into the hands of people who'll love it for them to talk about it.

I imagine most influencers wouldn't be that bothered by that product. But Casey is the right fit for the product - he travelles around a lot, likes to travel as light as possible and usually chooses practical convince over most things. So you can see why he'd talk about it. It likely wouldn't have worked on a make-up influencer or an influencer who only talks about cars.

Pick influencers who suit your product and send it to them with no expectations. If it's good enough, they'll sell it for you way better than you could advise them to. Let them be passionate about your product.
