It was Kim Jong-nam, confirms IGP – full press conference

Full press conference on Friday by Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, who finally confirmed that the North Korean man, killed at klia2 on Feb 13, was positively identified as Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-um. He however declined to comment on whether Jong-nam’s next-of kin provided DNA samples for the identification. The body will be handed over to the Health Ministry as no one has come forward to claim it.
