Mountain bike geometries are changing constantly. The bike industry is continuously looking for the "perfect" product. But does it make sense to seek perfection? Is mountain biking imperfect and in constant evolution by its nature? How can we imagine the mountain bike of the future? These are some of the questions we have tried to answer with the help of Jens Staudt.

Great content guys! Good to see you are questioning the status quo and the actual
development of the industry and not trying to chase the big names of the market.
Rebels are needed to wake up the sheep. ;)

that is the second person who is ahead of the game. we need to go back to the past and look at what worked and adapt it for now. his bike and a gearbox plus good suspension with adjusablities is the way forward. will we in 10 years time be saying his bike is the best, i think we will. thank you for the great content.

How are these guys that approach things with logic and sense so far and few between!? Sounds like RapMan frames could make an appearance.

Adjustble geo as it currently is is not more than a shitty gadget.
Adjustble geo is one if the best things you can do to a bike, but requiring it to work without having to change anything about the rest of the setup limits its potential a lot.
Who has to adjust his geo on a ride? Nobody. Just add a second shock mount and sell diffrent linkage parts for a frame and you could completely change the rear end and geo of the bike for 100 to 200 bucks.

I guess this simply doesnt fit into todays business model of planned obsolencense and having a million bikes for a million purposes.

Does it get to a point with a 62.5 ha that the forks dont work as intended and there must be some binding on those fork bushes
