I'm late, but here's a more cheaper alternative.
If the BQ Hive is near water:
1 boat
1 nightshade nostrum
10 trail mix
5 football helmets
1 fresh hambat

Use NN on Abigail, Hammer BQ Hive, Go to the Boat you placed in the water and make sure Abigail is set to neutral and is between you and BQ.

Abigail will kill Grumble Bees and Damage BQ while you can focus your attacks on BQ. The fight will be quick and will end in half a day, and it can also be done in the first week of early autumn.

I use the road to beat queen and can easily do with any character with lil resources but it's takes skill to not screw the fight but a lot of people are saying that grabbing thoose resources is time consuming...

Charcoal? Just burn some trees, eggs? Just feed bird, most of the time my fridge it's exploding with eggs, nitre it's the most expensive cus is limited but mining rocks and gold it's part of the daily grind on dst, not even trying to make gunpowder and i already have like 80 nitres on day 15.

It's not a good way to beat queen but ins't that complicated.

Yes just get 111 nitre for the bp. To be honest it's easier to build bunny hutches or wait until claus drops it smh
