If you want to make an ridiculous amount of money and gold in Stardew valley then you are going to need Ancient seeds. That is just a requirement. The thing is that I personally consider Ancient Fruit wine superior to truffles/truffle oil. Truffles cost so much time to process throughout the day if you want some decent money out of it and even though Wine takes long to process in kegs, it's worth more than oil and gives you WAY more time to get things done in the day making it a very efficient source of money.

In previous playthroughs I was able to find the seed at the travelling cart. This time I'm up to Fall year 2, and having checked the cart every opportunity I didn't have any luck. I just watched this short while sitting on the toilet.. five minutes later I have an ancient seed. Good shout 👏

Just explore the mines normally on good luck days. I usually get one before I hit the snow level. Be sure to kill everything though.

You can also sell mayonnaise and void mayonnaise, it's surprisingly worth a lot, I chose the option "animal products are worth 25% more" so maybe that's why but Idk

I've actually just found my first ancient seed! Well... Got one, I got it from putting a starfruit in a seed maker

I just need an ancient seed for gunther. Tip: get a seed maker and get blueberries, once you get a whole orchard SPAM a bunch of seed makers with blueberries and eventually you will get ancient fruit seeds. Thats how i got mine.
