Sunita Williams News | 'Spacebug' Detected At International Space Station | Health Concerns Arise

The Boeing Starliner, piloted by Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, successfully docked with the ISS on June 6. However, a superbug, Enterobacter bugandensis, resistant to multiple drugs, was found aboard. These bacteria, though not alien, have adapted to the ISS environment, raising concerns. NASA studies show that these bugs survived with the help of other microbes in the extreme conditions of space.

I noticed the astronaut Matthew Dominick was wiping his nose constantly awaiting Starliner crew to go through protocol before opening the hatch upon arrival.

I have to say I’m surprised she keeps her hair flying everywhere, even shaking it so vigorously - I’m sure it is sending small hairs, dust, skin particles, and whatever else into that sealed, tiny, vulnerable environment. Not safe, or IMO professional.

If there's no cure for that super bug infection, NASA better throw the ISS to the sun...

A NASA news release states they are NOT IN ANY DANGER. They are going to be brought home safely as soon as a leak is corrected.

Isn't there a Crew Dragon capsule already docked to the ISS? Go home in that. IF I'm wrong, it would certainly be worth it to launch a new one for rescue and transport home.

ISS is like a space refrigerator like research station and of course the possibilities of bacteria has high chances. I hope NASA has the anti biotic dose and other space aviation medic specialist on ground to diagnose and cure it.

The superbug is the same as Covid-19, invented by one of the US bio-labs.

I often wondered if f they got sick up there. Or if there was a medical emergency. What would you do for appendicitis that needs surgery on a long trip to Mars?

More gain of function testing on the ISS?? Stay up there.

The question is will the weightlessness of space create a mutation like we have never seen, the space station would absolutely be testing virus and bacteria morphology on the space station which would not be public knowledge ❤

Does The Space Station utilize UV light measures?

Spacebug - must be a bioweapon to affect them. Sunita will figure out how to destroy the bug.

Evacuate it and open the doors for a few hours. Too much, our first (second) space station and we already have a biological problem. We have not even landed on any planets yet. Pox Blankets.
Life persists. Such a hostile environment as well as a sanitary one.

Means you will not be surviving in orbit. Not allowed to infect any other planet as well.

If this was China, they'd say that the Chinese invented this Space Superbug as a weapon. But because its USA, then ... it accidentally evolved into a superbug being a stowaway from previous missions (oh ... hang on ... did any Chinese go on previous missions? No? Mmmm ... I wonder how USA are going to blame China for this one? /s).

Watch the movie LIFE (2017) and tell me if they should come back?

Wait, where exactly did this “superbug” come from? Idk. I think Sunita and the other astronauts just found alien life!
