Create Above and Beyond : E01 - Ore Processing

Today I start the Create Above and Beyond modpack, which is a challenge modpack based around the Create mod! I set up ore processing with the millstone and washing to double our ore using the Create mod.

Tip for 11:58, basins can auto-output completed recipes to some create containers if they're one block forward and down, a spout will appear when they can do so.
They can output to other basins, belts, chutes, vertical funnels and drains (if the output is a fluid).

I'm *really* excited to see what the progression of this pack will look like, especially with how massive this modpack is. So much effort to get ore doubling is crazy to think about, especially considering how much easier it is in 'vanilla' Create. KubeJS really helped the Create devteam push this pack above and beyond (pun intended).

You can get a pretty good storage system with Occultism (Dimensional Storage Actuator/Stabilizers) way before AE2 is available to you. You should be able to do a LOT of automation using the Portable Wormholes that connect to the storage system. Once you have an AE2 system going, you can just use an external storage bus to make the occultism storage system a subsystem of the AE2 one and keep your automation intact.

I’m obviously excited for this new stuff. It saddens me though to see all of the negativity that you got for doing the magic mods. It was because of you doing botania and mekanism that made follow you in the first place. It was always so thorough and helped me understand some of the harder concepts. Anyways you always make great content!

I like the style of this video! I actually like the tutorial feel where you get straight to the point. I can't watch "let's play" videos where someone is fumbling slowly through and doesn't know any more than I do about the mods. You know a lot more about Create than I do and I learn a lot from your videos.

I love the new way your starting videos, but with that being said, I recommend you avoid that in the first video of a series. It just makes it feel like we've missed something right away. I loving the videos, keep up the amazing work!

For me, before I went mining in full force, I set up a melter and mill so that I could get 1:1 ore to ingot.
