UK’s David Lammy confronted by pro-Palestine activists at food bank

“You’re at a food bank, and there are kids starving in Gaza.”
While visiting a food bank in Tottenham on Friday, the UK’s Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, was confronted by pro-Palestine activists and protesters, who questioned him about the UK’s policy regarding the worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza.

Protesters also chanted, “David Lammy, you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide,” outside the food bank.

At least 43,391 Palestinians have been killed and more than 101,200 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since 7 October, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
