In English, price is the amount set by the seller — it’s the selling value. Cost refers to the amount paid by the buyer, or the expense involved in making or obtaining something.

For example:
The price of the T-shirt is 10 JD. (Set by the seller.)
The T-shirt cost me 10 JD. (Paid by the buyer.)
They can be the same amount, but the terms describe different perspectives.
