The old system was very abusive and unfair to the person.
I know of someone who was arrested at his work, not home.
The bail was so high he could not get out
The crime He Said They said.
2 years locked up, terminated from a Golden Ticket job.
Once on the stand the two witnesses were cross examined, the police never question the witnesses like that.
The witnesses contradict each other instantly.
The case was thrown out, he never got his job back and his wages were cut by over half.

Ca. needs a profound change in the court system here.
