Biden, Trump spar over abortion at first presidential debate

Donald Trump, when asked about federal versus state regulation of abortion medication said “the Supreme Court just approved the abortion pill” and he would not interfere with that decision. The court did no such thing. The justices punted by saying the doctors who brought the case don’t have standing to sue, but the challenge to FDA regulation of the drugs is still very much alive and will continue in lower courts.

I will say this highly constrained format which was supposed to help Joe actually helped trump more. Kept him focused and prevented him from just rude shit talking. As a conservative who never watches CNN I will have to tip my hat to them. They did a very good job moderating, controlling, and hosting this debate.
