A lot of people have asked us about different places to go clubbing in Seoul, and there are 3 major areas to go to when you are in Korea. But these 3 areas are very different with different dress codes, vibes, and people. There is Gangnam, Hongdae, and Itaewon. Some accept older people while another is for a younger crowd. If you want to see idols, honestly, they are spotted in all 3 locations so you just gotta test your luck with that one. If you want a table, Gangnam will be most expensive, but all tables are on the pricier side. If you want specific bar or club recs let us know!

Me and my girls everytime we travel to Korea we go clubbing in Gangnam the only way we get in is by buying a table. They are expensive. We are not models and some of us are coloured skin and not to Korean standards in any way. But they have nothing to say if we bought a table. Plus I have seen a lot of 40+ ladies and gents in few Gangnam clubs. But we only club at there so yeah. An we met alot of idols interacted with many of them too which I didn't even know but they approach us out of cheer curiosity and some switched talktok thinking we are up for casual hook ups. I was disappointed and disgusted. Apparently idols are expert in hiding who they really are in real life. Not innocent peeps after all.

What are the clubs you guys most recommend in each area? Also, what are the clubs that k-hiphop artists go? I know they go to SOAP or Henz sometimes, but idk the other ones. (cuz i feel these they just go when they're performing there).

Me and my fiancé are going to Hongdae and Itaewon, I want to go clubbing but he is scared that they’ll let me in and not him because he read that foreigners can get rejected especially men and because he’s Moroccan and I am white. Do you think we should still give it a try anyway?

I've only been to Octagon in Gangnam and nobody was really dressed up or in heels. I was wearing a cute shirt, jeans, and flats and got in no problem. Also, I'm 35 years old but look in my 20's. Hongdae was chill and my fave pregame bar was The Corner Pub before hitting the clubs. I didn't party too much in Itaewon so not sure really 🤔 but I did go to a couple bars which I forgot the names. 😅😂 I was actually disappointed that I couldn't dress up in heels and a cute dress the entire clubbing time because I would've been overdressed anywhere I went. 😔

Thank you for sharing this vide, really helps. Just have a question, what/where do you recommend for a Latina foreigner to party at? I’ve heard most club don’t links dark skin foreigners. I’m asking, because I’ll be traveling solo and I’m hopping to avoid all the rejections from the bouncers at the club.

I realized this is wayyy too long so here are the actual questions Incase you don’t want to read everything😂 if we’re 19(U.S age) does that mean we can drink in korea and enter clubs? Can we go to convenience stores and buy soju, beer, etc? And can we go to bars or is it not allowed? Also about the clubs entry, are we too young?
I have a question, my friend and I are gonna go to korea around end of March and stay until around the end of April in 2021 so it’ll be 3-4 weeks there, we want to be able to club but the thing is that we’re high school students right now, we’re both 18 but by the time we travel to korea we’ll be 19, people have told me that out of Gangnam, itaewon, and Hongdae, Hongdae is the best for clubbing since it’s a area where university students are and it’s more lenient towards entry for foreigners, so my question is if we’re 19(U.S age) does that mean we can drink in korea and enter clubs? Can we go to convenience stores and buy soju, beer, etc? And can we go to bars or is it not allowed? Also about the clubs entry, are we too young? I’m just worried since we’re planning a lot for this trip and it’d be stressful to pack and then something messes up, when we travel to korea we’ll be halfway into our freshman year of college so I just had those questions about clubbing to see if we can, but if we can’t then we’ll have to change plans to something else which is gonna be disappointing but hey we still get to go to korea so it’s fine.
