Making My Car Safer!! - Ford Lane Keep Assist Retrofit

Показать описание
In this video my 2013 Ford Fusion goes under the knife again to add some Tesla (Autopilot) like technology. This time I am upgrading the safety features that were offered by Ford on their higher trims such as the Titanium. Many cars in 2021 are coming with these features now standard but I will show you what it takes to install it into your older Ford vehicle!! Ford Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure warning are systems that prevent you from drifting into other lanes while cruising above 40MPH. Coupled with this technology we gain the automatic high beam function!

This is very useful information thanks for posting it! Is the same camera also used for adaptive cruise control?

How does the cover come off that holds the adaptive cruise control? I’m looking at adding some tint and I want to know how to take it off without damaging it or the glass.

Sir, this is genius! Good video. Two questions, is there a motor or something pre-installed in our steering wheels that allows this plug-in-play to work? (2016 mkx reserve). And from your video, you replaced your windshield why?

Also I have a M1 Mac 🤓, is it better to run some type of parallels or just get some cheap surface off of Facebook marketplace in able to run forscan?

Awesome video my guy. Very informative. I'm thinking of doing the same on my mk5 Mondeo but I'm having a hard time finding the wires. Do you think you could check for a part number on the wires?

Hi Chad.
Amazing work.
2 questions. How do i access the menu in forscan to carry out the coding changes? Second, the codes you posted for your fusion, would they be the same for my 2015 Kuga? I believe you guys call this model escape!
Thank you

Great video, Chad,
thank you!
I have a question though, on my S-max 2016 I already have TSR and AHB.
Curious if I could enable Lane Assist but without installing the steering wheel squib ( since i do not have button for LA )?
I've tried with some changes via Forscan in IPMA and IPC modules but no success.

Are you planning on adding blind spot?

Do you think this would work on the 2014 Ford Cmax hybrid?

I have 2014 energi Titanium, recently replaced power steering, I’m trying to do the Line keep assist calibration using forescan. During the scan at 30% it says procedure interrupted.
I’m using OBD2 USB ELMconfig FoCCCus Diagnostic Scan Tool with MS-Can/HS-Can Switch connected to forscan computer.
I suspect that MS/HS unit that I’m using can do this procedure!!!!
What is the unit that you used to do your calibration? Will appreciate the purchase link.
Thanks
