On Friday, February 19, 2021 the Haitian American Museum of Chicago (HAMOC) hosted Historian Dr. Courtney Pierre Joseph and her lecture The Power of Oral Histories: Remember and Recording Everyday Voices.
This lecture was a part of HAMOC's Black History Month Lecture Series and showcased the museum's Oral History Collection, donated by Dr. Joseph as a part of her PhD Dissertation and upcoming book.
