On May 24, 1969, Jimi Hendrix and The Jimi Hendrix Experience performed a memorable concert at the International Sports Arena in San Diego, California. The setlist included some of Hendrix's most beloved live recordings.
This superb set yielded some of Hendrix's best loved live recordings, including an exquisite 12-minute version of "Red House" and an incomparable version of "Purple Haze.
The concert was part of Hendrix's North American Tour in 1969. It remains one of the most celebrated performances of his legendary career.
