(Along my personal experience)
If a girl says nothing is wrong, there are a couple reasons why ;)
1. She doesn't want to be known for a 'drama queen'
2. She simply doesnt want to talk to anyone
3. Nothing is wrong
4. She doesn't want to let the people she is mad at know that she is mad (mostly my reason)
5. She is too annoyed too talk
5. She doesnt want to talk about her problems with YOU
6. YOU are the reason why she is mad
7. She thinks you already know the reason
8. She knows she needs to cry if she talks about it.
9. She knows she will rage the crap out of her if she talks about it.
10. She doesnt have the energy for it.
11. PERIODS

I can understand why you would be annoyed by the "I'm fine" when a girl isn't fine kind of thing. I sympathize for you guys on this. However, part of the reason this happens is because when a girl shows any emotion (around some guys, not all of them) it will be dismissed as her being hysterical/on her period. Sorry that we do this, but here (in my experience with talking to other girls) is why we do it.
