I found it much more emotional and personal to her as an adult. We know she’s been trying to get into the West End, she’s 28 and obviously trained hard. She’s that good and still needs a day job while chasing her hard worked for dream. Given the harshness & rejection that go along with show business the wistful tone, the change of the wording from “your only a day away” to “your always a day a way” is so perfect. She hasn’t given up hope, no matter how many bad today’s she’s seen she makes us believe that a better tomorrow is still in reach. It doesn’t what are personal dreams are, Sydnie makes us feel hope is not just ok but worthwhile. We watched her create her own tomorrow and we love her for all the richness, emotion and empathy she brings. I haven’t heard a voice that has so much warmth, texture and true emotional depth since the first time I heard Barbara and Celine. Thank you Sydnie for never giving up, we needed you.

She's amazing!! Her version of "My way" was absolutely flawless. What an artist!! She so deserved to win the show!! ⭐️

We all know she is a professional singer, that doesn’t mean she’s had a successful career, this is her big opportunity and we’re all so so happy that such a talented person will finally have a chance.

Every time I hear her sing it makes me sob. Even after watching her performances many times over something in her voice and timing touch me deeply. What a performer.

Zoe, I feel your pain and happiness for Sydnie's moment. When I hear your singing voice, teaching us Sydnie's techniques, I can hear you have everything she's got vocally, You are beautiful. You have a great personality. The only difference is, she is a softer spirit, and you are strong spirit. She came to give us joy, and you came to show us how to make our joy. I cannot help but think, this moment for Sydney, will be your moment as well. You are amazing!!

Because of Sydnie, I have found you! You, I will be bringing into my classroom everyday!
Thank you for teaching us the art of music.
Something I have loved my whole life, but never understood.

Her technique and humanity shine powerfully, and you articulate both through your own.

No new singer can have such wonderful performances. As Simon comments on her that she Is master class. Although she an experienced singer, she push herself up a new high level. Wow she not only can sing well, but she connect with everyone. We are touched by her in few seconds. This is very rare.

I love how she pulled us into her heart and gave us hope for tomorrow. Being paralyzed from a horrible accident 2 years ago I need hope and she made me feel like I have it tomorrow

She is not a pop singer. She has a beautiful professional controlled voice - reminiscent of Judy Garland. LOVE HER!

My youngest daughter subjected us to hundreds of playings of "Annie". This girl brought back so many memories, and then she became my "girl". I've watched her at least 50 times on Youtube. Such a DOLL!!!! I hope she makes a billion dollars.

THANK YOU for sliencing the haters who want to give Sydnie grief for having studied her craft. I can't WAIT to see what's next for her.

I think they lyrics as an adult are kinda both uplifting and sad and i think her ending shows that. Yes tomorrow is going to be a better day, things are going to be great, but as the lyric says, tomorrow is always a day away. It never comes. She made a song associated with bratty kids into something far more adult and emotional. She's phenomenal.

A child singing tomorrow is just a fun song.
Sydnie singing tomorrow is her singing about herself and after all she's been through there is still hope. She is phenomenal!!!! Love her! 💓🤗💓

PS. Something I felt watching the first time & notice rewatching makes me love & respect Sydnie even more. She knew this was her best chance ever to basically audition for every show/producer in the West End at once and made it clear that was her goal, no fear of the “too Broadway” label (I hate how some shows act like that’s a bad thing since only the best can do it). I can only imagine the fear & excitement especially after engaging with the crowd went so well. Then there was the Simon hates this song moment, that would be enough to rattle anyone but the way he was staring at her before she started, talk about if looks could kill. She was visibly thrown by that intensity but was smart enough even under so much pressure to mentally step back, close her eyes, throw off the negativity and centre herself to be ready to let her gift shine at the most important moment of her career to date. That’s bravery, commitment and grace under fire.
