Heat can help.
Using vice grips has worked for me in the past.
What annoys me in these "how to remove a rounded bolt" videos is that they always have perfect rust free scenarios.
A bolt gets a rounded head 95% of the time because it's seized by rust. Usually with someone using a 12point wrench or open spanner.
These techniques have worked for me in the past, the one that seems to be most common solution in my experience is to just drill out the bolt and re-thread the hole. Depending on how lucky and accurate your drilling is, you may be able to get away without the need of a helicoil

That kinda hands on precision work soothes my anxiety.

Nice if your working with that amount of space.

Thank you for all your videos and the well priced parts you supply us with. I would really like to know what ratchet is the one used in the video. Thank you!

It's nice to see a recommendation that has nothing to do with listening to my personal conversations through the microphone on my phone

Not one of those tutorials did you use heat, if you heated bolts before rounding them (if it permits) then the usual socket does the job👍🏻

Put a socket on a T-bar and put a bit of torque on the T-bar whilst simultaneously hitting the central part of the T-bar really hard with a hammer.

Method 7 + a lump hammer FTW! If the torque isn't too high try a Cold Chisel first. Use a Dremel instead of an angle grinder to cut a slot. I know it's a demo but that was a bit heavy handed! :)

Well what about snapped wheel nuts? How are you suppose to get those out?

How about an inverted bolt like an Allen bolt? Mines rounded off.

Take a multi hex socket and hammer it over the bolt

For rounded torx bolts
Hammer a spline drive into them

For most cases the bolt is seized and socket slips causing the initial bolt head rounding so using oxy acetaline to heat the nut before attempting is always good practice where there is a build up of rust and corrosion

Get a file or grinder and form a new head to fit a spanner or socket, those surface drive ones work best.

These clean threads are very simple to undo. Depending on where the bolt is how old it is and how tight it is.

Who else though this was a fast and furious video.

All those nuts were easily accessible you try doing that to a engine in its bay 😯
Or other confined spaces
Good ideas though 👍
