Also because your psu is out of wattage when components need more

Very weird situation for me, when i play “the forest” with the lowest settings my pc turns off after 20 min of playing, but i can play fallout 4 with 500 mods and ultra high settings without even freezing for a sec

My Pc was shutting down under high load 4k or hitting 60fps on modern games, I removed an HDD from inside and that fixed it, I guess it was drawing power over the limit

Not only does my pc shut off during high performance games like COD or Marvel Rivals, it will shut of everything in my room. People will say "reset the braker" but it will just happen again. Need some advice ASAP.

I am having this problem. Just upgraded from a 2070 super to 7900xt and am running a i9-9900k with a aorus master motherboard. The psu is 850w but 7 years old and not a super reputable brand. It is fine until the game starts. I stress tested and it worked fine but poe 2 starts and boom. Tempts are 60c cpu and 83 for gpu but ive read 110c is max threshold for 7900xt as they run hot. Also, i thought when a gpu overheats it down clocks. My suspicion is my psu which is old has worn down and cant handle the high power draw anymore and trips itself under graphic intensive load. Ordered a 850w nzxt 80+ gold so we shall see. Also my gpu 2x8pin is daisy chained so i am going with solo wires for each power port.

My pc doesn't overheat but we did clean the dust inside of the monitor and it still does kept shutting off by itself randomly. I remember a malware was trying to get inside my PC but the ani-virus protector said they protected the PC meaning the malware didn't get in my pc

the overheating one was correct, my pc is full of dust, i wish i could clean it but sometimes the ram does not work, it can still run games with high performance with lowest settings possible, but when its too much detail, my pc couldnt handle it.

i have problems with my prebuild so take a look ( ryzen 9 5900x, rx7800xt, mpg b550 gaming plus, ddr4 3600mhz, 2tb, 750W) i have a lot of problems for the last 3 days with this pc it was getting graphic card artifacting when I was installing the windows for like 8 times, pixels on monitor for no reason and it was freezed nothing was working, after I installed the windows i was thinking it will start working good, but I see that not a single game is working, i tried to play dying light and it s giving me a black screen when I am in game menu and after some seconds the pc is restarting itself, then on Blair witch the same thing, on nfs 2005 i don t even get more than 60 fps, sometimes it was getting those pixels on monitor and getting freeze screen on YouTube for no reason just staying afk on a program or even on background

I can play Warzone for about 30 minuets then my pc freezes and I have to unplug it. I’ve done it all, use throttle stop and msi afterburner, updated windows and drivers. Uninstalled and reinstalled cod, turned down settings. My fans aren’t loud when I’m playing compared to other games. Cod is the only game that crashes. I have a Nvidia 1660 ti

Hi, I recently discovered my PC shuts down in one higly framerate intensive title 180-240fps. I then recreated the same scenario in Furmark. The thing is, I suspect it might be wattage dependent and not temperature, since GPU doesnt cross 57-61C and for CPU its 46-55C. I recreated the shutdown again in game with Rivatuner/Afterburner on and before it shut down/crashed it had these temps for CPU and GPU. Could it be a faulty PSU, what else should I test?

What if I'm playing a demanding game (e.g. Ghost Recon Breakpoint) and after some time (about 5 minutes) the monitors turn black (there is nothing on them and the dot indicating whether it is turned on turns red) and the computer starts running faster, I can't do anything with it and I have to turn off the power supply because the button doesn't work.

I bought my pc 7 years ago, it has a rx 570 and ryzen 5 1500x. One day my little cousin was playing a game and the pc randomly shut down. Ever since I can’t turn it on. I took it to a shop and they changed the power supply. It fixed the issue for about two weeks(the pc was still very slow during these two weeks). Now it doesn’t turn on anymore.sometimes when I try to turn it on the fans will try to start spinning after about 20-30 minutes and the lights start flickering but it never turns on. Does anybody know what the issue could be
