The Best Cheesecake In NYC | Best In Town

Herrine Ro and Erin Kommor search New York City to find the best New York-style cheesecake. They visit Veniero’s, a classic Italian bakery that’s been operating for over 120 years; Eileen’s Special Cheesecake, an award-laden spot with dozens of specialty flavors; and Mah-Ze-Dahr, a newcomer with a gourmet twist on a classic recipe. They try the most popular cheesecake at each spot and declare which is the best in town.

Cheesecake should never be bland and it shouldn't have toppings to be complete, it should be able to stand alone but enhanced by a topping. The topping is usually there to hide the flaws in the top crust, but a ban marie would eliminate the need for that.
