I see green anoles grey anoles and all sorts of frogs here in south texas and the gaters are everywhere this season seen one in my local ditch recently just chillin didnt even care i was there.

Actually, that gulf coast toad is a female.

The males have blue and yellow markings under their throats and are smaller.

I saw a toad that looked like that in my neighborhood. I remember because it was the ugliest toad I've ever seen. Is there an invasive species that looks similar? It wasn't a gulf coast toad, those are cute and not as bumpy.
