i think for most people, economic reasons are the number one.   hopes based on things like that, and dependencies.    I think most stay in relationships because there is no clean way out.

Marie, How do I approach someone when they're working? I work at a Wal-Mart and there's a subway inside that we go to for our breaks. Can a single girl and single guy be friends? As in "let's get together"? I'm not interested in him at all, and I made that clear. He's respectful, but I'm not entirely sure where he stands. He's never led me on, but MAY have been testing the waters. He's a bit older, too. (Im in my 30s, so that's ok.)
