The glow-up is very nice. But I prefer the simple version of your OC.
And I also prefer being simple than detailed.

In my honest opinion, the new OC looks beautiful and detailed while the old OC is just downright adorable!! I would truly be okay with anything though. Although, if you were to choose the new OC, maybe try making the outlines pastel like the old OC? But either way, I’d be alright, so pick what you want, MiKa!

Honestly, a simple design is much more memorable. It’s easier to recreate from memory, and easy to recognize.

Having a design that’s too complicated can make it harder to remember the details.

In my honest opinion, I like the old one. I think that because it's simple, that it's the perfect main! The contrast between her and your other characters is quite appealing, like "Oh what a nice oc, it's cute and simple. Her other ocs are so detailed ö" it's kinda the shock value I really love 😅 It's also great for fanart! And it's just very recognizably you 💛
If you do change it, I won't be mad, this is just my honest opinions.
