If I wanted to make this circuit using a 3V source and more LEDs in the circuit, would I need to change the resistors??

with 5V I just can't get it to breath. I did change some of the values, importantly the resistor in series with the LEDs, but also the other resistor and capacitor. It does rise slowly, and then just stays on. I can imagine the voltage drop of the 555 is too large to operate this circuit with 5V. Or perhaps the specs of the transistor are critical, because I did use another npn

What is the output voltage? I want do something like this with a 12 Volt LED strip in my car. What is the configuration for 12v in and 12v out?

I am using this circuit as hall sensor replicator my client haves a electric bike without throttle innit he wants to throttle attached but the controller designed to work with hall sensors on pedals when i connected this circuit to hall sensor data pin input it worked no need to spin pedals to acceleration assist anymore

I hope you put the equipment and the instrument name you use. Its hard to identify what specific instruments/equipment to use for that project. Just recommendeding.
