On August 22, 2024, the Alliance for Digital Innovation held the second of its two-part event series on modernization of the Federal Risk Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). Part 1 included a discussion with key government officials for a preview of upcoming changes to the FedRAMP. Following the event, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released their final memo on modernizing the FedRAMP Program.
The second event featured a discussion with key government and industry stakeholders on implementation of the guidance. The discussion highlighted the updates to the program. It also dove into how these changes impact government agencies as they manage their risk and cloud service providers who are partnering with or considering working with the federal government.
