I created an Insect Cult in Rimworld

In Todays video we follow a gang of human-insect hybrids as they try to oviposit their way to a successful Rimworld colony using a combination of genetic sciences, biological depravity, religion and a pump action 12 gauge.

The idea of the newborns having some capabilities of their host reminds me of the xenomorphs, In comics and games we see variants capable of flying, reflecting bullets, with six limbs, bigger claws, and a poisonous tail like a scorpion.

I’ve always found the best defense against infestation is to just compartmentalize the tunnels with doors, and then start a fire in the infested area, burning out all the insects.

try again but instead of summoning insects, use stuff like VE Genetics to make your own insectoids (even works with VE Insectoids to let you make the insectoid creator device rather than having to rely on getting it in a quest)
also Alpha Animals has a psycast line that lets you summon black insectoids

It's interesting you took this route with your insect worship colony. Whenever I do it I generally act like they're a colonial hive, complete with a queen who produces offspring via egg laying and specialized warrior/worker/nurse genotypes to serve alongside her. Definitely going to have to try the parasitoid gene route though at some point.

I wanted to comment this when the dwarf colony video was released, but forgot, im not sorry. But yeah if you want to get rid of a metric ton of corpses, stuff you dont want or infestations, you can set up an oven zone. Just let it cook, eventually anything alive will die from a heatstroke or on fire and any flammable object will be reduced to nothingness, mostly because ashes dont exist in this game. Whenever i start strip mining, i seal the entrance and add something to heat up the insides, if infestation pops up, they'll be cooked alive before they get to do anything. Kill zones too, seal them from both sides, turn up the heat and problem solved.
