Sony CONFIRMS Working on PS5. PSN Name Change Official. Sony Sues PS4 Hacker. - [LTPS #330]

Pretty exciting news week for PlayStation that's for sure. PSN ID changes are official and Sony bought some jailbroken PS4's to prove a point. But yes yes, the big one is Sony talking about next-gen. It's not the craziest piece of news but I'll be darned and bamboozled if it doesn't excite me downstairs a little.

Playstation 4 is a great simple name. Playstation 5 is also perfect. They dont have to follow Xbox type of name which doesn't make any sense at all.

Just look at this. Perfect position to name this hardware PlayStation 5. Controller also can be upgrade to touch screen where the touch pad is. had rumble also can be included. They can also include wireless charging. Then that's gonna be incredible.

Don't fix something that isn't broken... PS5 should be a more powerful PS4 with more and better exclusives... Why get into this whole stream service if the a big chunk of the World is not ready?

the graphics jump from PS2 to PS3 was HUGE, from PS3 to PS4 it wasn't that much of a huge difference, i bet you early PS5 games would look basically just like PS4 Pro enhanced games...
game graphics have reached a point where they are stuck more or less at the same spot, they won't get better anymore for at least 7 years until more research and development occurs to make it possible for higher fidelity graphics to even happen.
its probably why next generation will also stay for a long time like last gen did...
(anyone else remember the insane graphics fidelity jump from 2005/6-2007? i don't remember something even remotely close to that happening anytime in the past 11 years)

I really hope Killzone returns. It’s so criminally underrated from a commercial standpoint (and even some industry reviewers have overlooked the excellence of the series). Way better than so many other popular shooters out there

No way anyone should be paying for a name change. Steam already lets ypu do it for free.

Also its not a full name change across the board as it depends on games allowing it apparently.
