Germany has unveiled a teddy bear as its mascot for the UEFA Euro 2024 football tournament.
The European Championship mascot was spotted on Tuesday for the first time visiting a primary school in Gelsenkirchen.
As well as wearing a football jersey, socks, and boots
it was also wearing pants a notable feature.. as Germany's Lion mascot for the 2006 World Cup drew ridicule for being naked from the waist down.
Fans can help name the teddy bear by voting for Albärt, Bärnardo, Bärnheart or Herzi von Bär.
The football tournament will kick off on June 14th, 2024.
