Although you will hear some of the same things that you hear in his videos, getting to be there for a whole week and do nothing but paint while getting guidance and corrections was transformational. My confidence in my painting increased significantly. Finding DrawMixPaint and taking Marks class has definitely put me much further ahead than I would have been on my own.

Thank you Mark. This video is very helpful in preparing for class. It addresses questions lurking in the back of my mind that I wouldn't disturb you with. There is a video from about 3 years ago of Emily painting an onion and figs that I feel is also great for students in the queue for class because Emily actually talks you through her internal process from the perspective of a student as well as a student who goes forward and applies your technique to many works attaining personal reward and professional success. All very reassuring and centering!

Unfortunately my autism has started really giving me problems so unless something changes in a big way, me painting days are over. Thanks for the help on my painting road to no where. I had a pack of viscious autistic meltdowns and the energies soaked my 26 paintings and all my painting I had to put it in a closet. Total loss.

Bought his Geneva line of paints and I find myself reaching for those tubes more and more as a first choice over Williamsburg and W&N (both of which I love). The Geneva have a wetter consistency than a lot of other paints, but this is actually a strength once you get used to it. The colors are remarkable.
