DO NOT BUY THIS. The product was working great until it was broken. The nightmare started when I had to claim the warranty. Mine died after 7 months of use. After sending the unit to the repair centre and waiting for three weeks, they sent me a $700 invoice because the damage was caused by dirt and cockroaches and this voids the warranty. Yep, you heard me right, the warranty can be voided for this cleaning machine while it’s cleaning dirt and cockroaches get into the machine, so you are out of luck. I was shocked by hearing this from manufacturers and it’s my fault instead of the product. They put these details on their website but I am pretty sure no one will ever know this until it happens.

I bought this $2500 machine to clean the floor and the machine can get hot and wet, it will attract pests as it creates the perfect conditions for them. They finally declined my request of so I could stop others from buying this to going through the same process. You need to make sure that your intended space needs to be a clean, pest-controlled area so it doesn’t break itself. So if you are living where cockroaches can be present, do not buy this machine so you save your money.

Finally, their warranty claim support is not helpful. They just repeat the policy and they don’t approach from the customer’s side. They are sending me the machine as not being repaired as I refuse to pay the invoice.

You are more than likely to have serious problems trying to connect it to the internet, and there is no support from the manufacturer to fix the problem. Few of them work, but I've returned two, and I'm now fighting with my third roborock S8!!
Do yourself a favour and just don't buy it!

I completely agree. This is not working and I spent about AUD$3000 on the S8 MaxV Ultra and it is not working. The support is rude and jhust told me to go to the seller. I feel like I have been swindled/scammed. Not at all what I expect for a product/gadget at this price
