Infineon Technologies AG has opened a new factory in Cegléd, Hungary, dedicated to the assembly and testing of high-power semiconductor modules to drive the electrification of vehicles and enable green energy solutions, from wind turbines to energy-efficient drives.

The new manufacturing capacities reflect Infineon's commitment to accommodating the growing demand for electromobility applications, as the company continues to invest in the future growth of electromobility.

With an additional investment of 100 million EUR, complemented by support from the Hungarian government, this facility is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable mobility.
