TERRA SPATIUM contributes its expertise and capabilities in the context of the European Commission's framework programmes for research and innovation. With distinguished partners we are currently involved in the HORIZON 2020 programs:

- EUGENIUS: European group of enterprises for a network of information using space
- FabSpace: build and support a new generation of platform dedicated to space and big data applications

Likewise, during the previous years we actively participated in the programs:

- miBeez©, an Integrated Precision Apiculture System, “Execution of Quality Control of Digital VHR orthophotos and DTM, extracted from digital aerial photographs, over the whole Greece– LSO25” for the National Cadastre and Mapping SA as subcontractor of the project responsible for all the optical and automatic checks that were needed for the evaluation of the quality of the delivered orthophotomaps and DTM over the whole country.
- LOBOS (LOw time critical BOrder Surveillance) as production point,
- SAGRES (Support to Pre-Operational Validation of the High-Time Critical Components of CONOPS),
- D-BOX (Demining tool-BOX for humanitarian clearing of large scale area from antipersonnel landmines and cluster munitions) and
- CHARMe (Characterization of metadata to allow high-quality climate applications and services).

Moreover, we have successfully involved in the implementation of security related feasibility studies for EDA and ESA:

- ESA IAP LBCSS that focuses on land border surveillance, with the Hellenic Police as target user, who belongs to the Ministry of Protection of Citizens while FRONTEX representatives have also participated in the proof of concept pilot demonstration.
- ESA’s Study on Earth observation Ground Segment System of Systems for civil security
- EDA’s NEOS study which was a Study on Earth observation Ground Segment System of Systems for Security and Defence
