@Hero_Hei Microsoft did not really shut the DEI department, nobody was fired, the team was integrated into other teams to try to make DEI part of the structure of their whole company. Less than a month before this announcement in an internal meeting one of their DEI reps stated basically that they intended to lie through their teeth and "keep doing the work".

As far as current game journalists go. They are just journalists who failed to get into political journalism, which is why they just throw out dumb little hit pieces that have nothing to do with gaming. Yet they wonder why they are losing their jobs.
