MASCHINE MK3 is ready for seamless control of the latest version of MASCHINE 2 software including everything you need to create and perform songs – with an 8 GB library of high-quality sounds, drum kits, multi-sampled instruments, patterns, projects, and sliced loops right out of the box, plus Drum Synths: 5 fully tweakable, automatable drum plug-ins built exclusively for MASCHINE. MASCHINE MK3 is compatible with all major DAWs (including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and FL Studio) as a VST or Audio Units plug-in with full multicore support.

New in version 2 are dual high-resolution color screens for browsing, tweaking, mixing and more. The KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series has also received a refreshing update to its knobs and controls, adding a more ergonomic look and feel, as well as a 4-directional push encoder for one-handed sound browsing and project navigation. You get the same deep integration with MASCHINE software and hardware, as well as pre-mapped control of KOMPLETE instruments and hundreds of Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) instruments from leading manufacturers.

Watching this video should be mandatory before and after even considering any purchases!

Thank you for the video. I am looking at both. Haters got nothing but hate and in a few days I am going to have NI Maschine or Kontrol. So, again, thanks for the video.

Hi, please, could you demostrate how the two pieces of HW work toghether on the same laptop / same DAW (otherwise only running Maschine SW) ? For example: the two displays on Maschine MK3 showing the Mixer and the other two on the S Keyboard showing the effects....and so on. Thanks

Thank you for the video. Can you please tell me why one would need both of these controllers? After all don’t they both do pretty much the same thing except one has keys and the other pads? Please shed some light on this. Thank you.

Oooooh Auto stands for automation? Haha I always thought it stood for Automatic. Had no idea what it was for for the longest time.

I'm sitting for hours trying to set up Maschine MK3 and KKKS61 in my DAW (Studio One) ... and it's just not possible. KKS61 works just fine, but when I load Maschine plugin in my DAW, transport controls stop working. Then they only work in Midi mode which is useless. Isn't there a tutorial "How to set up Maschine and Komplete Kontrol in a DAW" ? So many vids and nothing.

IMO the biggest weakness on NI stuff is that they lock the audio drivers on a PC. That means you can't have a DAW as a side-chain. I wish NI would provide a driver that can allow your DAW and Maschine to co-exist and maybe link (or at least release the driver on a context change). Ie if you switch to the DAW the daw can control the audio drivers and visa versa.

Thank you, great help.

Do you or anyone reading this know how to connect the 2 together or is it just a simple case of both USBs connected to the Mac?

13:50, what's producing those lovely tones, is it the 'pure kit' that's listed on the screen there or something else? Sounds lush.

Am I correct in thinking a beginner could easily create 4 different sequenced instruments; i.e. Drums, Bass, Keys, Guitar into different song sections with such as; Intro, Verse 1, Chorus, Verse 2, Chorus, Bridge, Verse 3 Chorus, Outtro.- then record vocals over the top?

What about the MK3 with a DJ controller like the DDJ-1000 SRT? At the same time?
