This type of thinking is so dumb and dangerous for women. Clearly, he has no respect for his wife, but he has even less respect for you. To a point, he wants to protect what he has with his wife, so he will hide you from her and the general public while they're together openly. She has access to all of his everything, at any given time. You only have what he can spare in time and everything else. Simply put, it's not a good look being someone's second choice or cumrag, but if the validation means that much to you, then I guess that's the difference between how some women's self-worth are set up.
