I still remember when they'd say that computers would replace manual labor & low skill jobs. I said it would replace any and all jobs that require math such as Marketing, Manufacturing, Accounting, most Management, etc. Now AI is proving that I was right - the machines can replace the "thinkers" but not workers. Management jobs can go, not the workers.

AI deflation makes sense because almost everyone will be unemployed, so no income, and when no one is buying, prices drop. On the other hand, technology always promises lower prices, but we never see those low prices. We're probably going "Detroit".

In the 80's Computers were $3, 000 and had 2MB of RAM. TV's were 28" and cost $1500. That was 1-3 months of salary 😂. Those deflated in price. It can happen with robots in factories and AI.
You won't need as high of a salary to buy everything.

Technology is and always will be the MOST deflatuonary force. Its not just ai, drones, self driving cars, 3d printing amd cheaper/easier cnc.

A lot of people are needed to build a nuclear plant. I think the AI job loses will be offset by nuke plant construction to support AI. This may be a zero sum game.

I'm not sure what's scarier AI or AS (artificial stupid). As in all computer information "Garbage in- Garbage out". The success of failure is predicated on what it's fed. From what I've seen so far, I'm not all that hopeful. Glueing together your pizza and the Founding Fathers being revised to black dudes, isn't what everyone was hoping for.

If AI = no jobs then there will be no consumers which = no sales = no businesses! There will always be jobs of some type...people adapt.

He doesnt know what deflation is. Deflation is caused by a collapse in credit due to a credit bubble collapsing. This causes most prices to collapse.
