Somers is criticized for her views on some medical subjects & advocacy of the Wiley Protocol, which has been labelled as "scientifically unproven" & "dangerous." Her promotion of alternative cancer treatments has received criticism from the American Cancer Society.

I Have to say ... As the Server at the Commissary were Mrs.Somers and her beloved husband ate everyday for the two years I waited on them everyday ..Feed the Cast & Crew after hours at the Old M.G.M Studios in Culver city .. Then Loramar studios now Sony Studios ... They were nothing more then a loving Couple respected each other for who they were in this / that biz . Suzanne just published her first book ( keeping secrets ) I was at all the press party's
