Thank you so much!! My 2-year-old Dell had always had power problems and I needed to replace the battery, and when I looked at your video, I thought maybe I could replace the power jack and it might help my problems. I was afraid to do this myself but your video made it all so clear. Now I can plug in my power cord (the 3rd or 4th I've had to buy in the last two years) and it stays in, plus I have a new battery. Thanks a bunch! I'm not unfamiliar with laptop repairs, but another video to replace the power jack goes through such a complicated process to access the area from the other side that I had a mental block and feared messing something up.
