Hi, I’m Krista! I make math courses to keep you from banging your head against the wall. ;)

Math class was always so frustrating for me. I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half. I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”

@amaninderbraraa You can definitely use L'Hopital's Rule to evaluate when you run into 0(+infinity) or 0(-infinity), but you don't have to. In both cases in an example like this, you'll get 0. :)

I'm glad this helped! :) PS... Using a limit is the technically correct way to evaluate it, because technically you can't plug infinity into a function directly. But of course plugging infinity in is exactly what you're doing when you evaluate at the limit, so you always get the same answer. :)

@zrr91 All I have now is some videos on interval of convergence. I'll try to add more videos on convergence testing soon! :D

thanks!! i hope that means the videos are helping!! :D

Really usefull, I watched a video where instead of putting huge numbers on the calculator you use the l'hopital thing but at the end it is gonna be the same.

Thank you for saving my grade! Interesting that you are not using a limit, same answer though.

Thank you so much, your videos are extremely helpful! When are you supposed to split the limits into two integrals? I have an example that splits 0 to infinity into 0 to 1 and then 1 to infinity.

I thought 0 times infinity is undefined.

hey good work'
i have a question don't we use lopital's rule when infinity is multiplied by 0 by making it 0/0 or infinity/infinity

What about testing convergence? I'm having trouble with that.

dont we use LH rule when it is zero x infi ??

whenever you're simplifying, isn't it (infinity times 0/3)? because as e approaches negative infinity, it approaches 0, but then you multiply that 0 by infinity, which then you use L'Hopitals rule...idk that's what Im seeing

For those who are confused e^-infinity = 1 /e^infinity therefore 1/ infinity(or large number) = 0

y don't you use limit ?? and if this going to like that do y need to use limit in some situations.

i forgot to say it is useful video keep posting
