I am Ukrainian and what they say is true. For me the forced smiles and empty small talks are torturous but intellectual conversation and good jokes are a delight. Also Ukrainian women were taught to be modest, behave decently and not to show their ambitions too much. They are good wives, mothers and good employees. And please -- Ukraine is not part of Russia! Their history, culture, mentality are quite different. Ukrainians are polite and civilized people.

I would advise men dating anywhere world wide to beware of the difference between transactional desire and genuine desire. Thats the conversation being had at 6:10 . Needless to say you want the women who has genuine desire for you

I've fallen for a Ukrainian woman recently, but she's the most shy woman I've ever met. I'm afraid to tell her of my feelings for her, even though we've been working together for about 6 months now. She's a great coworker to me, has a great work ethic, and is probably more intelligent than I'll ever be at our job (and I'm a lead tech at times). To top it off, she's beautiful, kind, intelligent, and a dream come true for any man.

She's so shy though, that I'm afraid by pursuing her she may shut herself off to me. Do I need to "chip away at the armor" to reach her heart? I've given her many compliments before, but never a personal one such as telling her she's beautiful. Even if she did reject me, my compliments towards her would still be true. I love Ukraine and Ukrainians, particularly outside the big cities. In many ways it reminds me of Texas. A little bit smaller than Texas, heavily agricultural and the people are nice. 2016-2019 I met and dated a lot of women in Ukraine. My experience is that Ukrainian women want a man in the traditional sense of the word - providers, protectors, problem solvers.
