In October 2008 this abandoned preschool was forced to close permanently when their certificate to operate was revoked for failing to file the annual report for the year.

Man, it’s a shame all those toys and books were just left there. It’s surprising how much of it all is still in really good shape! If someone wanted to, they could just go take some of that stuff, clean them up, and find new homes for them. I’m sure there are kids out there who would appreciate those toys and books, and even the vhs tapes. It would be far better than just leaving them to rot down there. It’s also very weird to think that the kids in those graduation caps and gowns are all in their 50’s nowadays.

Also, what kind of batteries did that one toy have? That was hella impressive!

Man, this place made me cry a little bit. I live in Canada, but I remember listening to stories on tape, playing with the old toys like those Little Tikes phones with faces oh them where the eyes would move when you rolled them. And the those lawnmower things where the balls would fly inside the round bit when you rolled them And I remember just being a kid in the 90s and 2000s. Thank you for bringing back the 90s nostalgia. I wish I was a daycare kid again1

After natural disasters, a lot of times people will create Facebook or other social media pages where they post pictures that are found in the rubble or sometimes miles from the site. The goal is to return them to the people whose memories are recorded in those pictures. Could something like that be done with the pictures of the children (now adults) in that abandoned school? Could someone in that town be contacted to do so? It seems like someone should try to preserve the pictures before time demolishes them. I would think the people in the pictures and their families would like to have them digitalized.

It basically represents a Time Capsule showing what it once was
People vandalizing the places are pure evil
A lot of bad eggs ruining amazing and beautiful places like this??
I’ve heard of people moving and cleaning up the places to give people a hint about what it once looked like when it was open TwT

I learned at this school my whole entire pre-k time, I remember the small halloween party the school would do, the costume room is for the people that don’t have costumes, it was a good time.

It's kinda weird they converted an old house into a daycare preschool center I could see why it shut down it was too old of a building and a bit dangerous to children.

I use to have a Border Collie called Barney he was the best aswell 😊 Such a shame this place is wrecked. Children's memories scattered about that's very sad. But always a great explore 👍
